That’s why Clark St. Soaps was born. Staring at vats of leftover frying oil, we knew there had to be a better way to utilize this oil waste.

That started us down the path of sustainability. How can we use something that’s inherently wasteful to create something new? After a lot of trial and error, exploring different areas, we launched our first soap out into the streets of Chicago.

Simple as that. Skin needs care. Our bodies need care. We believe in order to take care of yourself, even a little bit, you also need to be intimate with yourself. The experience is part of the journey.
